Ruby Patricia R. Maronilla
Junior Associate
Ruby is a Junior Associate of Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law). An Economist-Lawyer, Ruby specializes in taxation, litigation, general corporate law, as well as in civil and administrative law.
Before joining BDB Law, Ruby served as a Legal Assistant and Legal Consultant for the Local Government Units of Libon, Albay, and Polangui, Albay, respectively.
At BDB Law, Ruby manages tax assessments and claims for refunds with administrative bodies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Units. She also handles requests for rulings and applications for tax treaty relief and represents clients in the Court of Tax Appeals and regular courts on tax-related cases.
Ruby graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bicol University College of Business, Economics and Management. She earned her Juris Doctor with Thesis degree from Ateneo de Naga University College of Law and was admitted to the bar in May 2022. She joined BDB Law in 2023.
In her leisure time, Ruby enjoys reading novels, watching movies, traveling, discovering new places, and indulging in her passion for music.
