Du-Baladad and Associates hosted a webinar, "EOPT 101: A Briefing on Revenue Regulaitons of EOPT", on May 14, 2024. The webinar commenced with welcoming remarks from Atty. Benedicta "Dick" Du-Baladad, Founding Partner and CEO of BDB Law. Atty. Jomel Manaig, Partner at BDB Law, opened the session with a detailed presentation on the core principles and objectives of the Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act. Atty. Rodel C. Unciano, Partner at BDB Law followed with an in-depth analysis of the VAT and invoicing requirements introduced under Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 3-2024 and RR No. 7-2024. Atty. Mabel L. Buted, Partner at BDB Law, provided valuable guidance on the procedures for tax filing, payment, and registration under the new law. Atty. Irwin C. Nidea, Jr. Senior Partner at BDB Law, took a closer look at the salient features of the EOPT Act and the proposed implementing rules and regulations.
