The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) held a successful seminar on recent tax updates and court decisions on November 8, 2024, at Filinvest Mimosa Leisure City, 2nd Floor, 2 Workplus Building, Acacia Drive, Clark Freeport, Pampanga.
The seminar covered a range of key topics, including BIR refunds, invoicing requirements, and recent BIR audit procedures. Participants were also updated on new issuances and laws, SEC regulations, recent court decisions, and developments at the local government unit (LGU) level, providing a comprehensive overview of current tax and regulatory issues.
Atty. Fulvio D. Dawilan, Managing Partner at Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law) , delivered an engaging presentation on recent decisions from the Court of Tax Appeals and the Supreme Court, offering expert analysis and practical insights to approximately 120 Certified Public Accountants in attendance.
